Xeriscaping

What is Xeriscaping? The basic philosophy of xeriscaping is using irrigation that conserves water and plants that are sometimes more native to the area and drought tolerant. Normally xeriscaped yards have little to no grass. The examples shown here are yards we have done using drip irrigation to all the plants and using different varieties of rock and/or bark as ground cover. Under the rock/bark we usually have a layer of quality landscape fabric to help prevent weed growth.
